We were the only visitors in the winery. We waited awhile for the gal to come out of the back room to acknowledge that anyone was there...not a big deal. She had us follow her to an outside tasting bar after letting the door slam in my husbands face. So I am thinking that we were quite an inconvenience to her based on her general attitude. The outside bar was very cold as the outdoor temp was 62 degrees with a wind making it feel considerably cooler. The inside bar was empty and warmer. The wine tasting was minimal at best. She never explained the wines nor made any attempt to converse with us at all! After tasting at many of the other wineries in the area, I felt very turned off by the whole experience and will probably not return with my wine tasting friends at any time in the future. Maybe it was just the attitude of the red headed gal waiting on us but she spoiled it for our entire group! !!!
Stopped at a few wineries yesterday. We ordered a tasting and were rushed by the employee to cash out. She did save us some money by rushing us at least. Everywhere else we went we also purchases a glass and took some time to enjoy our favorites.
Just went there over the weekend with my wife. The wine is great. It is right on the water, so the view is beautiful. Not as well know as the other wineries because has only been open for one year. Probably our favorite winery in Leelanau Peninsula. Highly recommend it. Looking forward to going back next year.
Highly recommend. Been to TC for years and somehow missed this gem. Great views and great staff. Enjoyed the tasting and loved the FVV pizza! Will be going here again. Great stop for lunch with a view.
Just visited this past Friday. Very disappointed! while The scenery and view are nice, service and price horrible. Ordered a glass of Red Cab. Got a 4 oz. Pour for $12.
